12022019: #TWO DAYS IN LISBON

Hey ho everyone! Bom dia! 🙂

Time for some Portugal-vibes today! Last autumn I made a Portugal round trip starting in Lisbon. Portugal’s capital is such a beautiful city, I really didn’t know about. A city, which I really consider to live in in the future. Lisbon has everything: lovely architecture, the most beautiful tires, culture and spreads positive vibes. 

Zeit für ein paar Portugal-Vibes! Letzten Herbst hat es mich ja mal wieder nach Portugal verschlagen, und dieses Mal ist es eine kleine Rundreise geworden, die in Lissabon begonnen hat. Portugal’s Hauptstadt ist einfach traumhaft, das war mir gar nicht so bewusst. Kommt auf jeden Fall auf meine Liste “Mögliche temporäre Wohnorte für die Zukunft”. In Lissabon gibt es nicht nur die schönsten Kacheln überhaupt, die Stadt bietet Kultur, Architektur und hat eine positive Ausstrahlung auf mich. 🙂 

I stayed in the HUB New Hostel, which was near by Bairro Alto, so quite central. I can only recommend this Hostel, but I guess there are quite a few good ones in Lisbon. I’m a person who loves walking and getting lost in small streets of big cities, and so I arrived at a daily walking distance of 23 km. Considering Lisbon’s hills it was a leg-trip just before the surf-week in Cascais. 😀 

Ich habe im HUB New Hostel übernachtet, welches in der Nähe vom berühmten Bairro Alto liegt, also ziemlich zentral. Das Hostel kann ich auf jeden Fall empfehlen, allerdings gibt es glaube ich ziemlich viele gute Hostels in Lissabon. Ich bin ja leidenschaftliche Geherin (:D) und liebe es in den kleinen Gassen großer Städte rumzulaufen. Auf dem Tacho hieß das dann ca. 23km pro Tag. 3 Leg-Days in Folge in der hügeligsten Stadt Europas vor der anstehenden Surf-Woche in Cascais. 😀 

Lisbon has a lot of cute cafés and spots, which I of course couldn’t discover in two days. Here’s my favourites so far:

In Lissabon gibt es wahnsinnig viele schöne Cafés und Spots, die ich natürlich nicht alle in 2,5 Tagen erkunden konnte. Aber hier sind mal meine derzeitigen Favoriten:

Happy to also see Sophia again. We first met in Bali and then (even unplanned) saw each other again in Lisbon for  a coffee-talk. BTW: This is what you cll professional photo-bombing 😀 😀 <3

Der coolste Zufall dieser Reise war, dass Sophia und ich uns auf einen Kaffee getroffen haben. Wir hatten uns vorletztes Jahr einmal auf Bali getroffen und haben dann zufällig bemerkt, dass wir gerade in der gleichen Stadt unterwegs sind. BTW: Im Hintergrund professionelles Photo-Bombing! 😀 😀  <3

Then, the city is famous for its Miradouros, which are view points from that you can see the whole city. Absolutely the best thing you can do – super beautiful and worth it due to the fact that Lisbon is built on a hill. I also did a guided walking tour to find out some details about the city’s history and culture. Lisbon impressed me to the fullest and I can’t wait to be back there!

Lissabon ist außerdem für die Miradouros berühmt; das sind Aussichtspunkte, von denen man die ganze Stadt sehen kann. Absolutes Must-Do – einfach traumhaft schön und es lohnt sich wirklich! Ich habe auch eine geführte Walking-City-Tour gemacht, um ein bisschen Hintergrundwissen zu bekommen und keinen wichtigen Platz auszulassen. Lissabon hat mich echt beeindruckt und ich freue mich jetzt schon, wieder dort zu sein!
